Minimalist Korean fashion wardrobe.

Yo~ I'll just cut to the chase and get to the juicy goods. So, if you follow me on tumblr you probably noticed my recent posts of "minimal fashion" and "Korean inspired" and yeah, in truth I've been stung with the poisonous Korean trends. How not to love them? I followed a month, or so, ago the account for the great store of Mixxmix's (Seoul) Instagram. I am infected. It's this beautifully simple, plain coordinates fashion that just work. And I want in.

But here's the thing, my wardrobe is not fully in tune with the minimalist style. I mean, I have florals and lace and cutesy stuff all over. This fashion is not so much as cute and girly as it is plain and clean. So, I have some shopping to do if I want to start committing to this style. I don't have all that money, though, and that's fine, because the fashion is truly so easy and simple, it's not expensive to change your wardrobe a tad bit to match it.

To cut it short, the point is, I made a wish-list with inexpensive clothing items from my usual, typical inexpensive store. I divided said list in four, see it works like this. White tops, black tops, skirts and shorts. To coordinate, you could even blindly pinpoint one of the tops and one of the skirts and they would most definitely work together. The fashion is simplistic, the items are too. Plain t-shirts, crop tops, a detail here and there, maybe a little pineapple embroidery (what else do you want for summer sass?), or a strawberry tiny print. Solid colors. On the mature side. Blacks, whites, pales and grays. Uh, wide thin grids and thin slim stripes are also all in for this. It's a tasteful fashion. Plus it's easy to wear. Tuck in a wide shirt on one of those pleated, well-ironed skirts. Sneakers. Done.

I do, from time to time, make wish-lists with cute items I find from the online Asian-based stores I follow... But this one is different, I wasn't just looking for cute, I wasn't just looking for pretty. I looked for pieces with the potential to be matched with anything bottom or top piece and the potential to be worn any day. I also checked prices, because if I want to purchase myself some items, I want it to be the least pricey as possible.

Think that's enough explanation. From here, I'll just leave some pictures from the store that got me into this Korean poison inspiration. Then, my lists, with all the links under the respective pictures. Enjoy!
