Hello beautiful(s)~ Not too long ago I asked my boyfriend to help me take pictures of this coordinate and I decided to make a post for it, because I ended up really liking it ^^ It's quite clearly inspired in schoolgirl fashion. A little bit of Gossip Girl and a little bit of Kawaii~ I got so many compliments on it when I went to Target and it made me happy (and embarrassed haha). Anyway~ enjoy! The outfit rundown is below the pictures.

I'm not sure what it was with this shirt that called my name but it did. Honestly, I thought the colors weren't my thing or taste and I worried the fabric wouldn't be soft, yet everything turned out great. I'm a little obsessed with collared shirts with bowties and it's a plus if they're a button down as well. I thought the style was unique, since it isn't the usual white shirt with black bowtie. I was also interested in the pattern, because it's not just plain and it's also not just polka dot, it has this sutile texture that adds color and dimension. The deep deep red ribbon was the perfect cherry on top of the cake. It's adorable and classy. I love classy. Classy, preppy, Gossip Girl vibe. (haha~) I have to admit it, I watched that TV show all through middle school and the styling caught my eye. Anyway, back to the basics of the shirt. The quality is amazing and the fabric is, honestly, very soft. The bow tie comes with a pin in the back, I would prefer it if it just went around the neckline, but this works too. And it's easier to get it looking right because we don't actually have to tie the bowknot. I do think, because of the color palette, it's a little hard to mix and match with many things. I was unsure of what to pair it with, but this simple navy blue skirt turned out to be just fine. ^^ Perfect score, I love it.
